About the filmmaker:
Matthew O’Callaghan is an American film director, animator, writer, and storyboard artist. He directed the feature film Curious George (2006) and co-created the animated television series Life with Louie, which ran from 1995 to 1998. He began his career in animation working on projects for Disney, including The Black Cauldron (1985), The Great Mouse Detective (1986), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), and as director animator on The Little Mermaid (1989). He also worked on various projects for Warner Bros. and Looney Tunes. For his work directing Daffy’s Rhapsody (2012), he was nominated for a best short film award at the 2012 Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
