About the film:
Max Cohen, a brilliant but increasingly unstable mathematician, believes that everything in nature – including the stock market – is governed by hidden numerical patterns. Working obsessively from his cramped New York apartment, Max discovers a mysterious 216-digit number that may unlock the secrets of the universe, attracting the attention of both Wall Street firms eager to exploit it and a group of mystics who believe it reveals the true name of God. As paranoia, migraines, and hallucinations intensify, Max is forced to confront the dangerous consequences of seeking ultimate order in a chaotic world.
