A psycho-sexual journey into oblivion, Crash is the controversial film from acclaimed director David Cronenberg. James Spader plays a bored film director who explores new realms after a near-fatal automobile accident introduces him to a world of sexually obsessed car crashes.

About the filmmaker:
David Cronenberg is a Canadian filmmaker and screenwriter known for pioneering the “body horror” genre and exploring the intersections of technology, identity, and the human body. He gained international recognition with films such as Videodrome (1983) and The Fly (1986), and later expanded into psychological drama with works like A History of Violence (2005) and Eastern Promises (2007).

Known for his provocative themes and clinical visual style, Cronenberg’s films challenge audiences to confront the boundaries between the physical and the psychological.
