Levan Akin is a Swedish film Director and Screenwriter. He is most known for his film And Then We Danced (2019) which premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and achieved critical acclaim. Akin began his career as an Assistant Director in Film Production at Svergies TV. He went on to make his first feature film Katinkas Kalas (2011) which premiered at Stockholm International Film Festival. Crossing (2024) will be Akins third film and it will have its world premiere at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival.
