Jack Arnold was an American film and television director, best known for his work on legendary genre films like Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), It Came From Outer Space (1953), and The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957). After a successful career making primarily science fiction films, Arnold began to work on television, directing episodes of popular shows such as Gilligan’s Island and The Brady Bunch.
