World Premiere, 2024 Telluride Film Festival and Special Presentation, 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. The screenplay was written by Academy Award-nominated writer, Peter Straughan (2011’s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), based on Robert Harris’s 2016 novel of the same name. “concurs with Plato’s adage, ‘Only those who do not seek power are qualified to hold it,’ featuring a host of candidates who seem positively British in their self-effacing humility, side by side with others ambitious enough to sabotage their rivals.”
