About the filmmaker:
Stephen Williams is a Canadian film and television director. He has worked on several modern-day television programs, most notably as a director and co-executive producer on the acclaimed ABC drama series Lost and HBO’s 2019 DC Comics adaptation Watchmen. He wrote and directed the film Soul Survivor (1995), which premiered out of competition at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival and was shown during the International Critics’ Week at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival. He directed the feature film Chevalier (2023), which premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.
