About the film:
World Premiere at Fantastic Fest 2021. On Thanksgiving night, a group of disgruntled toy store employees begrudgingly arrive for work to open the store at midnight for the busiest shopping day of the year. This group of misfits soon find them themselves battling against hordes of holiday shoppers who have been turned into monstrous creatures hellbent on a murderous rampage on Black Friday.
About the filmmaker:
Emmy Award-winning writer-director Casey Tebo got his start directing live concerts, concert films and music videos for Aerosmith. He directed commercials, promos, and live events for Disney, NFL, MTV, and more before crafting his 2012 sci-fi short film The Captivus which screened genre festivals around the world. In 2016, Tebo wrote and directed his debut narrative, the comedy horror feature Happy Birthday.
With a screenplay by newcomer Andy Greskoviak and a cast of genre film legends, Bruce Campbell described Black Friday as “The Breakfast Club with carnage and mayhem.” Read more from the filmmakers here.
