About the film:

For centuries and across cultures, parents have warned their children of the legendary Bagman, who snatches innocent children and stuffs them into his vile, rotting bag—never to be seen again. Patrick McKee narrowly escaped such an encounter as a boy, which left him with lasting scars throughout his adulthood. Now, Patrick’s childhood tormentor has returned, threatening the safety of his wife Karina and son Jake.

About the filmmaker: 

Colm McCarthy is best known for his television work, many with the BBC, including Peaky Blinders and Sherlock. His first feature film, Outcast (2010), premiered at SXSW Film Festival where it was nominated for the Midnight Audience Award. His next feature The Girl with All the Gifts (2016) had its North American premiere at TIFF, was later won Best Director at Fantastic Fest and nominated for a BAFTA Award.
