About the filmmaker:
Pamela Adlon is an American actress, voice actress, screenwriter, producer, and director who has worked in film and television since 1983. She’s known for her Emmy award-winning voice acting in the animated series King of the Hill. She is the co-creator and star of FX’s comedy-drama Better Things, which won a Peabody Award. Adlon has been nominated twice for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and is also known for her work on the FX comedy Louie as an actress, writer, and producer.
