About the film:
Official Selection of Berlin International Film Festival 2021. Argentina, the late 1970s. Private banker Yvan arrives from Geneva to replace a colleague who has mysteriously disappeared in military-ruled Buenos Aires. Moving through a society under surveillance, he finds himself untangling a sinister web of colonialism, high finance, and a nation’s “Dirty War”.

About the filmmaker:
Andreas Fontana was born in Geneva, Switzerland in 1982. He studied comparative literature and film production in Geneva, and trained as a production assistant in Buenos Aires. His short documentary Pedro M, 1981 was nominated for a Swiss Film Award. His debut feature, Azor, immerses the audience in an elite world of corruption and colonial privilege. Read more here.
