Kelly Fremon Craig is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer, known for writing and directing the film adaptation of Judy Blume’s classic novel Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret (2023). She made her directorial debut with the feature film The Edge of Seventeen (2016), which premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival and received widespread critical praise and numerous accolades, including a Directors Guild of America Nomination for Outstanding Achievement of a First Time Filmmaker. She graduated from UC Irvine with a degree in English Literature. She started writing sketch comedy and spoken word poetry in college before pursuing screenwriting.See our upcoming films
