A group of would-be criminals kidnaps the 12-year-old daughter of a powerful underworld figure. Holding her for ransom in an isolated mansion, their plan starts to unravel when they discover their young captive is actually a bloodthirsty vampire.
About the filmmakers:
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are filmmakers best known for their work in the horror genre, particularly as co-directors of Devil’s Due (2014), the comedy thriller Ready or Not (2019), Scream (2022), and Scream VI (2023). They are part of the filmmaking collective Radio Silence, who together co-directed the “10/31/98” segment of the 2012 feature film V/H/S, which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, and the 2015 feature film Southbound, which premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. Prior to their work with Radio Silence, Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett crafted popular short films as part of Chad, Matt & Rob, and received recognition for their blend of comedy with horror, adventure, and sci-fi, particularly in their 2008 breakout short Roommate Alien Prank Goes Bad.
