A creative weekend where local filmmaking teams—amateurs and professionals alike—craft wildly inventive short films over the course of 48 hours. The kickoff will begin at the Film Center at 7:00pm on Friday, July 28, 2023. Visit 48 Hour Film Project’s website to learn more.

Gateway Film Center will also host the 2023 premiere screenings on Saturday, August 12 at 7:00pm. Local judges will determine the winning films, with more than a dozen prizes to award—from Best Acting to Best Directing to the top prize: Best Film. The winner of Best Film goes to the Filmapalooza film festival in March 2024, and is eligible for a spot in the 48 Hour Film Project screening at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner.
