Gateway Film Foundation Announces New Laser Projection Systems at Gateway Film Center, Supported by a Greater Columbus Arts Council Capital Grant
COLUMBUS, OH — Gateway Film Foundation is proud to announce the installation of new state-of-the-art laser projection systems at the Gateway Film Center, beginning in April 2026. This transformative upgrade is made possible through a capital grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC), alongside continued support from the Columbus community.
This investment represents a significant step forward in the Foundation’s mission to advance film culture and ensure that audiences in central Ohio experience cinema at the highest possible standard.

A Transformational Investment in the Art of Film in Columbus
The new laser projection systems will dramatically enhance image brightness, color accuracy, and long-term reliability, allowing Gateway Film Center to present films as filmmakers intend. From contemporary releases to 4K restorations and repertory classics, every screening will benefit from increased visual precision and consistency.
